AH, another post which should be entitled "Big up your sponsors"

This type of question, as well as

"Whats the best pack/marker/barrel/mask etc etc only usually draws comments like I think Angels are the best (sponsered by WDP)

Just for completeness............. Zap is the best paint. If your not using it, you're losing it :D :p :)

You will find that most teams have only used one brand of paint for the majority of the year, so there will not be many people out there that could 'honestly' help.

I have guested for a few teams and used Severe, and I find it to be a lot different to Zap. We did seem to get a few more bouncers with the Severe and I found more dimples in the paint, although it could have been a bad batch. The Draxxus this year has been ok, but yet again there were some boxes that had dimples in them which lead to problems hitting things...................like barn doors :)

Haven't tried anything else so cannot comment. These are just my opinions though so do not take them too seriously.

Searching for the pro-tour....:S
Well I've shot Draxxus all year. Hellfire, yeah baby, ohh mummy, bring it on!

But the team shoot inferno so this season I have mostly been shooting that, and its a damn fine paint. No bad batches, good shape, consistent size within and between batches and breaks well.

Started the year shooting blaze, for the money a very good paint, you get the odd bounce but nothing too drastic. Ended up with most of our guys shooting this on Sunday as Draxxus didn't have any inferno with them.

Have also shot rec-sport in training and thats really not at all bad for site paint. Good shape and consistent size but a touch hard, for the money its great though.

Just a note, no we are not sponsored by Draxxus, we shoot their paint by choice, and shooting blaze at the start of the year soon caused our sposor site to change to Draxxus for their rental customer paint. Stuffs good, end of story!:D

teams are sponsored and part of this sponsoship is that teams represent the sponsors wherever possible. You will never get a Zap player to admit publically that Draxus is better or vice versa...or they will lose their sponsorship. Sorry dude, but thats the way that it is.:)

But i shoot Draxxus, have done all year, Hellfire, Inferno and Blaze, and it always rocks!:)

Paint

i have found that what paint you use relates to what marker you use cos some markers are lighter on balls than others so you can run the risk of having a brittle shell which will break easier when shooting paul:p :p

We used to shoot Blaze and we found the shape of ball wasnt consistant and the shell was to brital. but i guess some batches were better than others

we now Shoot Severe and its great, lovly round balls nice shell and good fill, it just works better for us

just try out a few different types and see for your self

We have been shooting Zap all year and it has been great. I am zap sponsored but I still think it is great.

The ulitmate flies really straight and breaks on anything

We won 2nd novice at the indoor and Am b in the MM series. Shooting Zap inferno comfortably won Am A and the series.

Nuf said.
