I have been thinking about getting a new marker but i am not sure on what to get. I have been thinking about getting a new marker in 010 as i am going to start saving up soon for one. I am more keen on a poppet style marker but i am a little bit interested in a spooly too.

I already own an ego 08 so i know how good PE are but i would like to expand on different companies to and different types of tech on the markers.

So fire away with your ideas.

Thanks Ian

The DP Rev-i looks quite good, it's got a lot of interesting features on it. I find luxe's a tad back heavy, but are ace markers otherwise. The DM9 is an absolute beaut of a marker if you set up the trigger just right. The newer egos aren't a whole lot different to the ego 7, but the geo is quite good. It's like the ego 9 but with a softer shot and a whole lot less noise, operates very smoothly. TBH you just become accustomed to whatever marker you use the most, so just pick one you like the look of.

I was thinking of a Dm as a new marker, a luxe is a bit much for me the most i relay would like to spend is at a push of £700. I do like the vanguard creed but people dont seem to like it so i have been put off from it.

The 09 ego`s are ok but i prefer my 08 to them. It is not the look of the marker it is more the feel and comfort that is what i look for in a marker. The Geo was a disappointment from what i could see on the videos on youtube but i have not held one or used one so im still open to it. When are all the new 010 markers going to be released? What is bob long vice like i think it is the vice that is similar to the ego not sure.
Thanks

I use an ego 7 because I preferred the feel of it to the 09 (no deftek feed though :p). I was using a Geo on Saturday, it's more comfortable than the ego9 and has a softer shot. Granted, the differences aren't huge but it runs smoother. I would mainly recommend getting one if you don't have an ego7, ego8 or ego9 and want a PE marker.

Personally I'd wait until the 2010 markers are unveiled before looking for a new marker.

Wait a couple of months, and everyone will be unloading their '09 gear for the new stuff.

In the meantime, invest in a Sterling pump and an E-blade. These are dirt cheap at the moment, and you will become a better player using these than if you use a ramping machine gun.

If you are hell bent on a new machine gun, try a Droid. Cheap at the moment and V. Good.

Talking about a pump a friend of mine is sorting me out on one, i like to play in full semi i hardly use ramp unless i feel like wasting allot of paint before i go home.

I want to get something new this time round so that i have a full back up on a guaranty and i can say that it has been through my hands and i know what has been done to it.

I am also going to wait antill june next year to get a markers so that if there are any problems with the marker`s i will have the up to date one with no faults.
