I'm currently trying to sell my Spyder electra 09 with eye (still working on the 20post rule), which has been great to start off with but now I'm looking for an upgrade. Not looking for anything very expensive but a marker that can be used indoors/outdoors and maybe in beginner speedball competitions.Something compact/solid which doesn't require too much playing around with is also a plus. Thanks
Update: Price range of around 150-200£

Possibly a second hand Etha for that sort of price.Pretty solid markers, does everything you need to play speed ball/tournament paintball plus it has the tech service from Eclipse behind it.

For around the 200 mark you can pick up a nice mini along with a carbon fibre air tank. Alternatively, wait for just one more pay day and grab yourself an Empire AXE. Awesome pieces of kit for the money. As a team, we are moving to Vanquish's for the 2014 season so there should be plenty of choice coming your way once we start to shift our AXE's....

Agree with wingnut as well, axes are great markers however as they were a little out of your price range I didn't suggest it. Personally though I'm not a fan of minis, bit small in the hands for me.
