What Lube/oil??

Equinox

Go Ball Deep!!!
Hi, am still relatively new to the high end marker market.
But i am wondering what lube is best to use on them
while servicing??

For markers like the Ion, Ego, Zeus ect..

i was looking at planet and saw

"Gun Oil" and "Dye Slick Lube"

can anyone tell me what sort of lube i should be looking to get? and if there are different types, what is best ect?

cheers..

dow33 gease is the only gease you can achually use on an ION with out ****ing up the gun. Any oil or gease of any less consistancy will really screw up the internals.

Most silicoln based lubes has very similar consitancys to Dow33 - ive just bought a batch of Dow 55 which theroetically is practically the same - cant see any difference at all - cinamon lube is just as thick (but smells nice and is green - thats does it for me..lol)

obviously using synthetic lubes which is practically liquid isn't going to stay very long on a spool valve bolt and with the Ion having LP Hosing internally wont do them very good either. reason SP recomend DOW 33

^ Is the same reason you shouldnt use synthetic grease on timmies, i would assume this would be the same on Egos also apart from maybe on bolt o rings

lol

Smart Parts told you that didnt they ???

We use synthetic grease for our guns, the stuff we have is really sticky and just doesnt budge, its great for spool valve guns and for the belts on halos cos it just stays where it is for months.

PS Scars the reason you use 55 on Timmies is because the tolerances are quite low, meaning the orings have to be quite fat to make a seal, dow55 is absorbed by orings making them fatter.
