What loctite?

what loctite will i need to use if im trying to seal up a gauge on my air system that is 3000psi, either the tank pressure or output pressure?, cheers

use PTFE tape mate, sooooo much easier, better and cheaper, and it doesnt seal hard so its a doddle removing it too.

There was a thread about this a few months ago and somebody had said what to use and the colour codes. Do a search on the techroom and you`ll find it.

I think you need Lock 'N Seal Loctite which is 243

ptfe will also come off inside the fittings if not put on properly

...not PTFE its the most evil stuff on the planet, and even worse in markers with solanoids, loctite is way better, it doesnt leave a sticky mess, it looks tidy and will create a better seal in the long run
