I dont know if this has been done before but what is the limit of skill that a tournament paintballer whether it be Novice,Amateur or Pro, i mean everyone knows that pro ballers are the best pball has to show but every now and then they always get better and not just in the pro circuit, but in the Nov and Am circuits too.

Increasingly better skills are being noticed every year, take a look at Dynasty or Russian Legion, theres always talk that RL and DY mop the field, as well as other teams doing the same.

If there is a limit, where is it?????

Everytime I play i pick up new stuff and i improve upon it and thus use my own skills to improve how i do it.
Im sure most peeps have done this to a big extent tosuit them.

What would be the limit of PBall skills if it exists??????????????

Some would would say that experience is responsible but take this as an example....

Two players (Player 1 and 2)who have played 50 tourneys each, the same tourneys, same physical status but Player 1 literally pastes the other.

Whats wrong with this picture?
I see the answer as basically that player one has accumulated more skills than P2 but in the same time frame one is better than the other.
what Im saying is you could play this sport for 20 years and still get wipedout by a guy who has only played for 10 and this is dueto the fact that the rate of learning is deifferent based on personal skills of that person.

I aint saying expereince doesnt count coz it does but the rate you learn on how to get better is just as crucial.

Everyone has a different learning rateand skill level but can anyone reach their maximum potential????????

The gap above is either down to mental state (i.e. panic or calm) or down to luck.

Every player can reach his/her own maximum level but a) this will vary according to each individual (obviously!) and b) time to get there will depend on factors such as dedication, mental ability, physical state etc etc.

IHMO the simple answer to your question is; Luck plays such a large part in high-level paintball that it can't be quantified.
