milling is where they take chunks of metal out or little bits, the metal that u dont need, it makes the gun a little lighter.
To aply your question to something that may help you. Take a basic Autococker from WGP. Now look at all the other Fancy Design out on the market... Black Magics, Spanky's, Free Flow's, SFL's and so on. You notice how they have had material removed to improve the appearance and weight of the marker. Also know as milling. Does that help any???

milling is where they cut designs in ur gun it adds looks to your gun and it takes a little weight off your gun butt not enough to notice unless u gots a scale i dont recomend having it done to your gun it cost to much just buy one with it all ready done
