What is it with these old guys?

How come that every team has one old guy?
I mean, every team has one. Backlash had Pete, who is 156, Ironmen got Bob Long, he used to catch mammoths, even Dynasty has Chuck, and compared to the rest of the team, he's ancient.
Any theories?

There is one thing all new teams lack....experience !!
The older guys have played a lot and know 'most' of the tricks in the book (I have a copy of said book and will sell it for 1 million dollars !) Having these guys is a good way of getting their knowledge into able young bodies !

We have managed to blag Jon Bonich for our indoor team !
