Im currently using a dm9 with a rotor loader and have now bought an 09 ego but cant decide what hopper to go for, i had a few probs with my rotor so i know i dont want one of them and i dont want anything too loud. Any suggestions ???

I have run a rotor on every marker I've had mate without problems, also all my teammates use the rotors, one of them on his ego 09 without any problems.
Think you just got unlucky with your last rotor mate.
The majority love theirs and wouldn't swap it for anything else. But if you do have your heart set on using something else there is the Empire Prophecy, which has had mixed reveiws from people i know who bought one.
Or you could go down the Halo or Reloader B route bud, both good hoppers and half the price of the rotor or prophecy.
With the current BPS limit being where it is, almost all hoppers will be capable of keeping up with you marker, just comes down to ease of use and what you prefer.

3 use Vlocity's,3 use Rotor's.
I use a Vlocity with a hyperdrive chip,no problems,fast feeding,reliable,not as good on batteries,but the chip improves battery life.
And now very reasonably priced.

had a rotor, didnt like it at all!!
so went back to my vlocity always trusty, although if i need a quick change over i use my torque as a back up for now. which hardly ever happens lol

And only 2 use them, the other 3 use rotors. We are a 5 man team remember Tiffer.

I use a prophecy on mine never ever had an issue but i have to agree i had a rotor and mine kept jamming up
I use a rotor on my Egos and haven't had a problem yet. I expect i will have now the next tourney i play after saying that
