the PSP can drag the negotiations with the NPPL out another week?
Will give the answer on Tuesday the 21st--(just in case the NPPL needs some help.)
BTW, this would be an excellent opportunity for all those whiners, er--posters from America who want a more U.S. oriented slant to the board to offer a contribution.

Somebody bumped my original post in this spot. Why I oughta...
At any rate I'll answer my thread starter a bit early as rumors are now flying that a deal is done.
IF, I were a nasty and clever promoter(s) I'd drag out the negotiations and then tell the NPPL to take a hike--put on a fantastic Chicago event w/out any competition and never look back. Particularly if I couldn't arrange a deal for longer than the rest of the year but that's just the paranoid, conspiracy whacko side of my personality speaking.
