I found this on the NPPL's site. What happened to the original crystal Commanders Cup? Did Dynasty pawn it?

Antique Silverware

This is what you are playing for - The Commander's Cup.
The SOLID SILVER trophy was manufactured in the heart of England's Jewellery quarter in 1929.
The trophy was only rediscovered a few months ago when the traditional silversmiths whose ancestors created the cup decided to relocate to newer premises. Purely by accident Bart Walkerdine stubbled across this antique chalice and decided it would be the ideal replacement for the original Commander's Cup. This truely is a piece of history.

No accounting for quality these days

Shockingly it stained when it was passed around amongst the MS promotors who were, if rumor holds true, required first to open a vein and deliver blood into that many-faceted Grail and then on the next go round, drink to their new cabal. Or something like that.

* Now see, this is a much more atrocious and entertaining rumor (breech of PB ettiquette, etc.) than any stupid old "email"*

Yep it busted in Ryan's hands

The Base and the trophy were not together and when Chuck handed it to Ryan, He did not know this. When the base slipped Ryan try to put the two together and the whole base cracked slicing Ryan's hand. I was standing right next to him. We never saw the trophy again.
