Ive been paintballing for a while now and am looking at upgrading to a better marker. But I am not as technically minded as some. So I have been trying to find a very low level of matainence tournment marker. I was looking at AKA Vikings. Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks:D

oooooo i can see paul collier coming here any second!!:D :D

as far as i know, vikings ARE very low maintenance, only time you may ever send it in is to change the software.

i have tried a viking, it is seriously easy to walk (use 2 fingers and make a walking motion on the trigger) and requires no effort at all, it is also the most efficient and consistent gun out there, so you wont run out of gas for quite a while!!

i would just like to add, as i didnt read your post correctly:

cockers are also a low maintenance gun, although, when they screw up, they are hard to fix due to complicated hoses etc, but they run very weel when working are are very reliable, if they ever go wrong, there will always be someone at a tourny to help you out

Synical ;) :D

In answer to the question,

Cockers can go one of 2 ways, If you get one and it is running sweetly then don't touch it. It will lovely but if you tinker to make it better, you find those are the ones that just break all the time.

Impulse is easy to maintain and fix. I am so technically inept but can strip my Impy quickly and easily and there are no problems.

Angels. Two camps those who love them and those who dont but I have never used one for long enough to know about the problems
