this has got to be the most asked q on here, your best bet is
1) do a search on here for other peoples views
2) get down to your local shop/site or to a tournie and look at markers, ask people if you can try theirs, see how they balance, how they fire etc.... and see what you like

asking what you should get will only usually result in people recommending what they own themselves, when really its all down to personall choice......ive owned a few markers in the last 10 years and came back to using a highly modified version of the first semi i owned!

also at the moment is a great time to buy 2nd hand, even better in a few weeks, once the campaign cup is over there will be loads of cheap gear about

Yes shockers are great :D

People are boycotting smart parts though

A-5 will probably be fine if you can get around the weird shape and don't mind using something that looks like a gun.

what have you done to the A-5 so far?
I'm the last guy to dis the A-5, but it's not the best for tourney play. The cyclone feed system poping out the side a good few inches before you do, is a big disadvantage. Even Tippman effect have adapted their A-5's to run off halos.

I'm thinking of getting an A-5 myself. Guna use it for woodland stuff (like the UKPSF star wars game - 19th Oct, Paintball Park.)
But it's not going to be my tourney marker.

But like someone said try out as many gats as you can.

Oh and the A-5 i'm looking in to, i want to get it tricked out with a double trigger, E-grip, flatline barrel (remember it's to use in the woods.) and running on HPA. Only thing is that might be a bit expensive for a woodland marker. But damn it, it would rock and I can get a new car next year.:D
