In the UK, infernos are used the most, but alot of sites use tippmanns 
But if you want a site that everyone in the UK would visit, then get in 50 IR3's

I would definitely go with tippmanns (either pro/carbines or 98's). They are the single most reliable marker on the planet, great for newbies.
infernos are an inferior life form. (damn Euro guns...) Get Tippmanns if you want them running consistently for more than a week
If you're reffering to me as a "newb" I'll have you know that I've been playing for almost 4 years, own three cockers and a heavily modified Dark Angel LCD, quite far from a newb. A newb to this board I am however, hope you can all grow to hate me just as much as you do each other
Infernos
You can't beat infernos for site guns, they're very reliable and if one should go down they are easy to fix. At the site where I work we have little to no problems with them. Plus if a punter gets a break you can field strip the gun in seconds.
