what grease for ion

ok i got a ion but i'm not sure what gun grease to buy for re-lubing the bolt and o-rings anyone got any suggestions to what to buy i know sp say to buy shocker lub but can anyone suggest somthing thats a bit better value

The only thing I use on my Ion and it work every time..

P.S. Well it works now. I have put a BLACKHEART board in there

any lithium-formulated mountain bike suspension fork grease. Halfords stuff is 6.99 ish for a massive tube (Finish Line)

people now normally say 'teflon wah wah wah'

I've had no problems for a year now. Judy butter is great (or equiv) but teflon reinforced grease will be just as good. Or get Dow 33 but only a mug buys it from SP - Molycote FTW

Mikey, Molycote IS the correct stuff (Dow 33) and costs about 1/4 of the price.

Sp just re-brand it - I assumed you knew that?

AND it's not necessary - I've teched about 100 ions this year from using the wrong grease but as I said, there is equally good grease out there. Try it?

Dow33 = Shocker Lube same thing i belive, Smart parts sell it or you get a free one with o ring kit.

me student matey if there is somthing cheap thats as good as shocker lub then y not use it means i got more money for paint and training

dont get me wrong i aint blind to corporate greed but for peeps who have just bought them am i right in saying using other lube throws the warranty in the bin?
