Hi All,

Me and my team are starting the KOTH (master's) series next year. I have had a bit of a read of the rules and just need some help on a few issue's. i know it might seem stupid to ask but hay unless i ask i aint going to know right  :)

1)what does the following mean 1-4-1, 2-4-1, 3-4-1?

2) the rules state the following on chroning:

Pre game chrono, over 320 no replacement or adjustment allowed, if under 320 adjustment or replacement at marshal discretion dictated by schedule.

can we chrono our gun's before a pre-game chrono? as i had a spyder victor running @ 400fps (i know i didn't think it could go that high either :))

3)Self check zone is nipple to knees. if we get hit out side of this is it upto us to stop and call for a check? what if it's on our pack and dont know etc ???

4)10 Second call prior to game start, game ANY TIME after 10 second call.
Does this mean we get a 10 second warning then we play when we think 10 sec have elapsed?? or is there a game on call from a Marshall?

I think that's it for now lol :) cheers to all who answer ;)

1-4-1 is one for one......... it's a penalty for cheating, a player is sent off. 2-4-1 is more serious and two are sent off etc....

You can chrono as many times as you like before you get to the official chrono before the game....... it's advisable to do it regularly all day. That rule just means that when you arrive at the field for a game, the marshal will check your marker......... you get no chance to fix it then, you have to arrive with it at the right velocity.

Self check zone is the area that you are expected to check for hits.... so no excuses if you have been hit there and keep playing.

ten second warning means get ready......... the marshals will call game on after this (around ten seconds but be ready)

:)

Always best to ask :)
try asking some of last years players too.

As far as i can tell.

1. one for one, two for one, three for one, are penalties imposed by a marshall. They will take you and another of your team players out, eg. 1-4-1.
You and two other - 2-4-1, ect.

2. You should be able to chrony your guns any time through the day, but if you go up to the game and your gun goes over 320fps then you cannot play, under 320 fps and you can adjust it before the game.

3. If you get hit outside the self check zone, then it's up to the marshall to call you out, i think pack hits are out of the self check zone. Correct me guys if i'm wrong here.

4. After the 10 sec call the game will start by a call from the marshall, not neccessarily after 10 secs.

Hope this helps, correct me if i'm wrong guys.

If your firing over 300 but under 320fps it's up to the marshalls discretion dependent if all the games are running on time. They usually allow you to sort it but don't have to. So yeah visit the chrony station at regular intervals.

Nipples to knees is the self check area you are s'posed to check - I do - but if there is paint coming in don't worry bout spending loadsa time checking it. Give it a quick check and if you see nothing play on otherwise you'll probably end up on the wrong end of a mugging run. As for the pack if it's seeable you call it.

10 seconds is what the marshall shouts - no verbal countdown but from when this is called anywhere between 0 and 10 secs game on is usualy called - personally between 10 seconds and game on I think is the longest part of a game :p
