So come on boys and girls what did you all do with your mk1 angels, mags, cockers etc? They must still be around, hanging on the mantle piece perhaps or wherever. Mine just seem to be around, sometimes they end up in the kit bag, looking a bit glum against the new kit.

When I'm short on money I go out and play with them. Sunday I'm takeing my carter pump and my
palmer stock gun, and play some speedball.
Nothing I know can pi$$ off a player with a
timmy or an angel like being shot by a guy with
a pump gun, absolutely hilarious.

The old (ancient?) minimag is having a new lease of life running on air in the hands of a girl who plays up front, & can't afford a decent marker of her own yet. When she does get one, it'll go into my kit bag for emergencies like one of the others going down.
I have a friend who still has (among other markers)
a splatmaster
a black widow
2 assorted "specials" (can't remember all the details, but one type of internals in a different body)
His 8 year old pred special cocker
a sweet dark angel - but he's NEVER getting that back :D
a matrix
He's still upset that his mag went missing as well! These all (bar the cocker, matrix & MY angel) live in his loft at home & haven't seen the light of day since their respective retirements.

I traded my first gun, a pro am, for my first nitrogen tank, which was soon thereafter traded for a bigger nitro tank. Next, my old Mag was swapped plus cash for my Shocker. Then the Shocker and the nitro tank were swapped for my Cocker. I'll never get rid of the Cocker because no others of its type and only 4 of its brand (Abusive S/M) exist.

The fate of my LED shall be determined when I have more money...

You'll see a bunch of people break out pumps on occasion at the end of the day when everyone's low on paint but they still want to keep playing, at least at our field they do. Tyger is a pump gun pundit...ask him about it. Personally, if it's not making people come off the field in sufficient numbers in a relatively short time and scratching my trigger itch, I don't use it. Overkill to me is time better spent than catching flies with chopsticks. Life is frustrating enough as it is. Paintball should be kept on the mass destructo side to properly vent nervous tension and accumulated aggression.
