Is any mainstream publicity for paintball, good publicity?

The Wharf, a neighborhood paper for the Docklands area of London came down to our practice last Monday in order to run a short piece on the facility and us and wrote the following story on their sports page.

http://icthewharf.icnetwork.co.uk/sport/
Then click on "Balls Out"

I like that the Sports Editor wrote it and they ran it in that section but I'm not wild about being called "fanatics." It's not perfect but at least it exposes the non-woods version of paintball to a wider audience.

Nice big picture of Kalel "Hollywood" aka Lucifer Hunter that took up most of the back page in the actual paper. BTW, we don't train twice a week.

Not a bad article at all Tim. It's reasonably positive, and suggests that other people should give it a try. Nice publicity for the team as well - you could use it if you try to get any non-paintball sponsorship or support :)

Bah - I've been trying to get in touch with this dude for ages, since the first round of "hate mail" appeared in The Wharf several months ago.

TPC has had a lot of bad press in The Wharf ever since they announced plans to convert that warehouse, so compared to that this is oodles better. Keep up the good work.

PS - you have pm... ;)
