Depends how much you have to spend matey:

for cheapness, try the DYE excel, they come stock with the e-blades and just rock considering how much they cost

Mid range: boomstick or ultralite, you can buy backs for both seperately, allowing you to slowly build up a multi bore system

High end: Pipe barrel kits, powerlyte scepters, empire kits. Loads of these out there, however try to avoid a freak, they are a pain to align and if you break a ball in there you're screwed!!

as for bore, try a .689 to start with, most paint will fit down it, but if you can't afford a few bore sizes, buy a big bore, while it may be too big, all paint should fit down it, although you may have a coupla problems regarding consitsenvy over the chrono.

As for length, 14" seems to be good for all positions.

Well this is a very open ended question, as you will find out by the replies, any cocker threaded barrel does the trick, the art is getting a good paint bore to barrel match. Find out what paint you use the most and check the fit in the most common barrels,

http://www.area51paintball.com/barrelchart.html

either buy 1 small 1 medium and 1 large bore barrel (all the same lengh) or spend a bit more cash and buy a freak set, which allows you to change the bore of the barrel with the inserts.

As for length, again, how longs a piece of string, its all down to personal pref, but sit on the fence and a 14 inch is spot on.

Its so open ended that when i started writing this there were no replies, much practise my typing speed
