I've been using the stock barrel that comes with my pm6 for a while now but I could do with a bit more accuracy for when I play back or mid.

I realise this may spark a "my barrel is better than yours" thread but I could do with some advice.

I've been looking at the Hammerhead barrel system but the review sites are awash with sales reps and flamers. Hard to know who to trust!

Any feedback gratefully received.

Really depends on budget but Dye UL's and Stiffi's are top notch, also have a look at the Lucky Un1tec barrels, cheaper but they are brilliant barrels.
On a side note I've used Dye UL's and Stiffi's in the past but have just got myself a Lucky barrel.

Just my 2p

PM6s come with what is effectively an UL boomstick barrel stock, albeit .690 bore and different external milling, but finished to the same standard internally.

I would suggest that if the paint fits ok use the Stock Proto back and perhaps invest in a slightly longer front (Boomstick fronts fit).

No point spending cash on a barrel that won't perform and better than the one you have....;)

I like my SLy barrel. Good investments but it all comes down to personal choice and how much money you don't want to have anymore

It depends what kind of thing you're looking for.

If you're looking for one barrel that will "shoot anything" then I would simply get a larger back for your proto barrel, or even a larger Ultralite back for it, as the proto/dye barrel parts are compatible.

If however you're looking at getting a kit to get the best accuracy for whatever paintball you're shooting, then you might try looking at the evil Pipe Kit. It offers a great range of backs that will cover all sizes of ball and give great accuracy :)

I was never that impressed with the Un1tecs myself really, I found they kinda felt cheaply made.

Dye barrels look and shoot very nice.

CPs are excellent (and cheap if you import) too.
