I've been looking into what barrel to get for the A-5. The Flatline would be the obvious choice, but i've looked into that and heard it might not work very well in the British weather. If this isn't so, please tell me. Anyway, if anybody knows of any other barrels, please, speak up.

I was looking at the 12" Bigshot, but am unsure if anywhere in the UK sells them. Does anybody know? Thx.

Money no object?

Brilliant, follow these steps to heaven.

1. Put the A5 back in the box you got it in.
2. Take it back to the shop saying you changed your mind.
3. Go here and order an Eblade.

(seriously, I bought a 98C about 2/3years ago thinking it was a good starting platform for paintball, I got everything you can get for them, and it was still outperformed by std Impulses/shockers etc. You will never get a Tippmann running anywhere as sweet as even a base model Impulse/Cocker/Angeliron.)

I challenge ppl to prove me wrong ;)

Well, i wouldn't mind an Eblade, but as you probably know, i meant money isn't a problem, within reason.

Accuracy and range are very valuable assets, and i am willing to invest in them, but only to a certain extent, and if it's sure to pay off.

Anyway, if you think Tippmann's are always second to other markers, follow the links below and just have a look around. Especially on the forum on the A5 Owners group one.

I'll accept there are better markers out there, but the A-5 has one of the/ the fastest rate of fire of any marker, and with the proper set up, can be just as efficient as other markers. Plus, i've not had a single ball break with my A-5, thanks to the cyclone system. How many people with other markers can say that. The minority i'm sure, if that.

but still, £300 for a very nice second hand impy or cocker at the moment (STO going for £250 at the mo !!!! ) or about the same on an upgraded A-5, i know which one i would take (and it aint the A-5!)

But barrel wise, try a freak junior, pretty cheap and the inserts mean you can change bore sizes the fit the paint that you are using. i think planet sell them

www.planeteclipse.com

if not, try having a look around

www.justpaintball.co.uk

they have loads of barrels at really good prices!
