What are the odds ?

The other night at training i broke out and was playing the back middle bunker on a sup'air field and as i came out to shoot at my mirror on their middle back line I heard a noise like a hit on my gun but not quite the same, I checked my marker and saw nothing then on pulling the trigger to shoot again a shed load of paint sprayed out the end of the barrel.

on returning to the safe area to clean the gun i found no paint at all in the breach and when i squeegee'd the barrel out came a load of paint, but not the colour i had been using.

It was the paint my mirror had been shooting and he had shot it down my barrel from about 40 yards ! I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else ?

I've never had paint put INTO my barrel, but I've been hit in the barrel and had my opponents paint all over the inside. Sounds like a miraculous hit you took.

m8 that hit is truely great, but i have had it done too.

i was playing woods ball a while back and aarron from wolf-pac shot down my barrel once then when i came out again he did the same thing. i was on the floor laughing soo much as i couldnt believe it had happened :D :p :D

another good one was when my m8 and i were firing at each other from a distance and 5 balls in a string hit each others it was so funny, like something outta starwars:confused: :D

Sounds like some fishin' stories to me boys.
TNG it is not that farfetched when you think about it.

I play/Train for 8-10 hours a week and in that time many thousand balls are shot and shot back at me. It is surely a matter of when, rather than if, these things are going to happen.

hitting a ball in the air is fairly common you see it quite often and although i have never personally hit four or five in a row i have heard of others that have done it (Robbo i think) and have witnesses to prove it.

As for the shot down the barrel when you come out from cover to shoot you are only showing a few square inches of target to be shot on, the end of the barrel taking up almost one of those inches surely you can see that it is at least possible that one of the 100,000 or more balls that have been shot at me this year could have hit that area.

I did not post this on here to gain kudos as there is no skill involved in getting shot :p It is just a freak occurance that i wondered if anyone else had experienced !

:)

I'm glad you sorted all that out for me, I'm kinda new to this whole paintball thing.
