What are the chances of getting rid of all the wretched pictures?

Giant sig banners and uncontrolled scale of pictures and photos put into text body of posts is getting out of control, don'tcha think?
Some of the stuff is quite creative and even looks pretty good but drags out loading interminably so we can see the same stuff over and over and over . . .

I'm with baca on this one. It's getting hard to find the actual posts because of all the sigs you have to wade through. We're starting to look like one of them online gamer nerd clan meeting places (got nothing against the people, some of them play in my team). Perhaps there ought to be a maximum size to them. Or (my favorite option ) ban them all together.

Baca, perhaps is just that you and I are too old to understand all this stuff that kids get into nowadays...

I think that they add a much needed creative edge and feel to the forums, so they should be aloud to stay. Just limit the size. That's all. Nothing to big, but still creative.

On another note, I think most of the "powered by Everyone but your mom" type things at the bottem are either bs or much like mine!

totally agree with limiting thier size in both physical size and k size...

most other forums I read seem to think 10 - 12k is about the maximum not sure on physical size tho...

To be honest I wouldnt miss them if they were banned altogether, having them makes browsing at work difficult sometimes

Yes, but some of the sigs have usefull info in them, so I do want to see them.

We need a filter on whether or not you want to view pics & text or just text and vice versa.
