does anybody know what the effect would be if a 90 duro oring was replaced with a 70? would it just wear out more quickly? basically just because i was noseying through the geo manual and some of the orings are specifically stated as being 90. i know this wouldn't matter for things like the bolt bumper oring but what about the likes of one on the pops pin?

It'll probably stop working is a really short time. As a specific example, the reg pin seal on a CP tank regulator is a #004 90 duro o-ring. Not having any to hand I stuck a 70 duro in there and it failed within a couple of days and kept failing each time I replaced it. Finally got round to ordering some 90 duro o-rings and not had a problem for months, so it's important to get the right duro o-rings. I found the cheapest place to get them is from the states via Ebay.

I get all my o ring from a company called blue diamond really cheap super good quality, you can buy direct in any quantity and they can get or hold any size and type. www.blue-diamond.co.uk tell 02380258966. If you can't go down there call them is your best bet rather than their website
