I have NO IDEA what these are, what they do, or what they look like.

Please can someone explain as I'm finding hard to buy a new gun. Pics would also be very helpful.

Thanks

detents are smaller rubber finger like parts that sit just infront of the breach of the gun to stop a ball rolling into the barrel of the gun after it is loaded infront of the bolt.

eyes are electronic sensors which are linked up to the guns board and will not allow the gun to fire unless it detects a ball in front of the bolt. this helps to avoid the gun firing when a ball is only half way into the breach, which can cause the bolt to break the paint if this happens.

They very much sound like what their purpose is.

Detents:

Detains the ball from leaving the chamber until forced by the bolt

Eyes:

Looks to see if there is a ball in the chamber, it then allows the gun to fire. This stops paintballs from being chopped in half when travelling down the feedneck.

Hope this helps =D
