What about this gun as a starter marker?

As a newbie weekend player (for stress relief!) I am putting together some kit. After a fair bit of research, I bought myself some VForce sheild goggles which are great, and am now in search of a decent pump gun. Not wishing to fork out for a Phantom, I understand that the next best thing is the Armson Pump rifle marker. Does anyone have any experience with these guns? They come fitted with the Armson Stealth barrel as standard apparently. Any advice on this marker or any other pump would be a great help.

Go for a Tippmann 98. It is a great starter gun for the money. Forget the pump.

I'd have to agree with chip there.. pumps aren't worth the effort unless u r reall determined to just play pump and the m98 iss a great marker for the money.

chip- how r u guys doing???? I played your lot at temple a month or so ago with 'Outlook', I hear you're doing the Diablo thingy up north, if so i'm playing that with Thunder and I'll see u there buddy.

No pump

I just started on the long way to paintball, do not get a pump, talking about a pump as your starter makes em give you a funny look and shake their head vigorously. Go down and watch a tournament, often players are offloading an old gun or at least they can give advice, worth listening too.

Kieran- We are doing ok. Although we can never get our team together. When we played you guys we to pick up players and the last temple tourney we had to pick up a newbie to play so it has been rough

Fortunately, at the Diablo Cup we will have 6 of our players and Phil from Redz so we should get a chance to show our true talent for the first time as a team. I am not sure if you are aware, but we have picked up 3 players from American Nightmare (Chris, Jeff, and Brian) so we now are complete.

Maybe we will meet in the middle.
