Was pointed out to me at Scotland vs England that my 13ci bottle is nearing 5 years old yet the summary of the legislation on the ukpsf page specifies that those rules apply to pressure vessels over 0.5 litres, so what covers bottles smaller?

13ci is exempt from hydro testing.
It would still be subject to looking at for condition before use

In america they quote the 2x2 rule, in the UK it's below 1/2 litre

In addition it's likely to be alumimium which has a 10 year duration before requiring a hydro test instead of 5

As always though, it's up to the site as to whether they allow it

thanks all, suppose I should just print out the ukpsf page and put it in my kit bag so I can point out that the retests don't apply to it.
