ladies love kewl kid
just studied the c5 line a bit more. it looks padded again(and even more) to me. whats up now? ist it tournament legal or not? is it legal in the nppl/millenium ? or does refs just dont look for the jerseys pro teams wear? i recall maxs masters 2002 when we played the dye "which were new at that time" jerseys we were told not to wear t-shirts beneath because the shoulders were padded.

Thought the same myself- i think maybe because of the ruling in most series of no secondary padding maybe DYE have increased the level of padding within their gear to a level where it is actually sufficiant to do it's task. The C4's were insufficiant to deal with anything more than good grass pitch's. I prefer the trousers with no padding that allow you to wear your own choice of knee pads underneath.

This is where mon capitan and i disagree. The c4 pads are enough in my opinion to do the job without fear of killoing my knees. For dye to increase the level of padding this is a good thing. Hopefulyl teh clothes will be padded enough to scrap all kinds of other padding.

I've done the "3 feet drop onto hard floor" test in my C4s, and they've adequately protected my knees... If C5s have more padding, then even better.

I've yet to have a set of strap-on pads that don't ride up/down/sideways on me so the Dyes get my vote! :)

Well, the PA (rule book russ) said that they where not checkin for knee pads under and trousers including C4's (this was about round 4/5 so maybe things have changed, Maybe!).
