Just connected up my tank to the WGP Karnivor I purchased last week and found it had an air leak.

The spot it is leaking from is highlighted in the below pictures:

Anybody know what the most likely cause is and how I would go about fixing it?

Thanks.

Your ram shaft "O" ring is leaking.

You have 3 choices:

1) strip the ram, replace the "O" ring and carry on

2) remove the QEV, drip 3 drops of oil into the ram, rebuild, air it up and dry fire it 20 times. (sometimes the "O" ring is just a bit dry.)

3) buy a new ram from belsales.

Tried the few drops of oil into the ram, didn't do anything, so looks like I'm gonna have to strip the ram down. Bugger, don't have any of my tools here!

Ok, the oil in the ram trick actually does seem to have done something. Cycled it about 30 times and it stopped leaking, although by then my tank pressure was dropping very low so that might be why it stopped leaking!
