if i went a bought an 03/04 factory e-blade, could i change the standard feed neck for a clamping feedneck? it looks to me as if it's welded into place and/or is still part of the body

yep im pritty sure they are the screw on type.....get a strap wrench on it!!!!
dont bother wasting your money on the wgp grip neck tho....go for one like the ccm that needs an allen key to tighten it up....a million times better and FAR easier to use

only the top section of the eclipse ones unscrew, so yer in a way u can change it, and i agree that the grip ones are a pain in the ass if you tighten them up to much to stop ur hopper from moving when u come to unscrew it they tend to unscrew from the top of the body, has only happened to me once but apart from that theyre ok. i just put a little bit of loctite on the threads to stop it from unscrewing.
100% with Jahlad on the CCM route. Took his advice and ordered one for my A4 (which has the twist lock as standard, similar to the WGP one). Perhaps the finest upgrade I have bought. The loader will NOT budge with a CCM, dive to your hearts content but that loader won't move an inch.

Does anyone do the CCM Feednecks in the U.K i got the wgp one and it doesnt seen to grip the halo hopper very well unless i put electricians tape around the neck first and then put it into the feedneck
