i understand that the angel led had a problem with water( if not correct please let me know?) getting in its electrics
are threr any such problems with the lcd
sorry fairly new to sport thought i'd just ask

I had a LED, and a team mate a LCD.
Both got a good soaking at Elsham last year.
Both stopped dead during the last game.
Bugger......

But mine dried out and worked fine, His dried out and didnt! He needed a new board from WDP.

Can not say that the LED is better than a LCD, just mine worked fine. Also got to say the service from WDP was outstanding.

D'oh- I was taking that 'Underwater paintball' thread seriously:D :D :D

I've never had any problems with soaking my LED- the thing is almost bullet-proof. Shame it's green mind...:)

I played with my LCD in a blinding rain storm and had no trouble at all. As long as you don't open the grip cheek and expose the board to the rain, I can't see how you'd have a problem with getting the board wet.
