Hi,

Just a big thank you from Check It for a great weekend - a very friendly tournie. Thanks to all the marshalls who fitted the 91 games into about 6 hours and to all the friendly people we got to meet. It was nice to finally meet the famous Guppy and see her 'moves'. It was also good to see so many promising up and coming young teams - good luck for the future to all of you.

It was nice to put a face to the name.
We had a blast playing there, shame about the paint (which was the worst i've ever had to use) but the weather held off at least.

Good luck at the diablo cup next week.

Thanks to all the teams from Downward Spiral and Bitch Whipped. It was a good tourny that turned out much better than we had expected. The marshals did an excellent job but like alien said, the paint wasnt good and the fact the field was on the side of a hill didnt help. But all in all, it was a really good day.

Firstly id like to thank Sparklie for the playing tops, so we actually LOOKED like a team. Alien for somewhere to sleep, and his mums catering services.
Liz, thanks for the air bottle (i owe u a hug )

Thanks to check-it for making some of the games so quick that it took longer to chrony than play, as it made the day finish before it got dark.

Well done to the staff who worked very hard on the day to make the tourney playable.

Guppy, thanks for the whipping, thuroughly enjoyed.
How many requests from other ballers were put in after??

As a first tourney, the only way is up, far far up. but it was fun.
The teams made it so.
The paint was square, and broke very easily in hoppers and barrels. Not to mention its accuracy. But hell, we played, and we won a few.....
And next time we'll get ya Check-it

You keep talkin the talk Billy!! That game lasted 15sec, little bit fast! It was a great day all round, only a few complaints mainly centred around the paint, but hey! You cant have it perfect all the time!

if i said no i might be lying.

not to say we got that badly whooped all day. they simply fired faster than us on the break, and had a few lucky shots. (even spud admitted feeling a few bounce - bloody back player "padding") Both teams kinda abandoned any idea of using cover.
nuff said.

but next time......

SCREW YOU!!! It was skill all the way!! we just ripped all day, if i do say so myself!! Longest game was 49 seconds!

As for not using any cover, i dont remember seeing any worth noting!! hehehehe!
