Id like to say hello to all of you here on this forum.Ive been reading all of these posts concerning the EXL and the gun problems you have encountered.
I have been hired to be the new head referee for the EXL and i am looking forward to meeting all of you soon and i will try to give the 150% of effort that i give to the NXL.As for those of you who dont know me ill give you a bit of back ground.Ive played this game for over 22 years ive played on over 30 different teams pro am and novice.I am one of 4 original PRO refs ive been reffing NXL for last 1.5 years and im one of the original 4 NXL referees also for any further info a 4 page artical can be found in the pb2x june issue this year on me.
Now i notice that some of you believe that the yelling at a ref be it a player or coach is wrong .Well as long as he is not abusive or directing threats at any individuale not on his team or in the crowd he should be alowed to vent a bit we are only human. As for a coach as long as he waits till the 2 min between games and wants to disscuss a situation with me that is fine i will always be happy to listen to any coach as long as he wants to be reasonable (yes pete dose turn a lovely shade of red when hes excited :D sorry pete couldnt help takin a pot shot :) ) Also remember as this grows and we get to tvland we will be more or less also in the entertainment buisness and seein some poor coach lose his mind screamin on the sidelines is entertaining :)
I also noticed i was pretty much called dumb for saying that all markers can take the same board, my mistake for i forgot about e-cockers i dont see any of those my main problem has been with dm4s, timmys and new shockers and impulses which all can be made to use the same board.
Well if any of you have any questions or need to contact me feel free to at nitromag@att.net and when im on the road BOOGPRO@aol.com will contact me

hope to see you all soon

Trigger bounce...hmmmm i have been reading all the posts about delays caused by this problem.Basically what im looking for is the runawaybounce which is i ease the trigger back and the marker just gose beserk and dumps the whole hopper those are illeagel (me speeling suckth bad)Now if i ease it back and it shoots 1 and thats it its fine.If i shoot it 3-4 times real quick and let off trigger and it fires 3-4 more times thats illeagel( i know im misspellin that word) Now everyone better have there markers good to go for once that clock starts there is no stopping or delaying cause your equipment aint ready and if you get caught with a illeagel marker on the field and have played with it you will get a suspension for a game and your team will serve a 5 min major penelty i will explain how this all works at the captains meeting the nite before the event.I will also go over this and many other points with my fellow referees before the event also.My main goal is to have the EXL and the NXL maintain the same quality of officiating and professionalism on both sides of the pond so that we can all make it to tvland asap :)

I just want to say that Mike (Boogie) was quite willing to come over and lend us a hand despite the fact that our budget only provides a travel allowance for Europeans. So he'll be lucky to break even which shows his dedication to the sport and to NXL/EXL.

Thanks a lot Boogie.

By the way, it looks like we'll have another NXL PRO ref and an NXL player coming over for EXL and a PSP Division 1 ref coming over for Open X Ball. Kenneth Borg, who did a great job on the EXL field in Paris, will be taking his expertise and experience to the Open X Ball field in Amsterdam.

As you can see, we're in good hands in Amsterdam.
