Ok I wasn't going to add my comments to the other threads as I do have some negative ones along with the positive and I think they'd been aired to an extreme already...

But the one thing a lot of people don't seem to be taking into account is that Warped started the whole Big Game thing going again over here and which ever way you look at it we still don't have anything else that compares apart from star wars/Kenny's. So we have 2 real big games. ONLY TWO....

There are a lot of negative things to take away with the positive but I think the important thing is taht Warped managed to get it together for the day... and hopefully will take feedback away for next year.

As mentioned elsewhere they did a cracking job of coping with a bad sittuation and sure it was a fairly small site and we only really played a third of it or less... but we played.. and WE made the most of it. I for one want to encourage the continuation of The Big game as I look forward to it every year and if it goes away it will leave a big hole in my calendar. We have few enough scenarios so lets support the ones we've got through good and bad....

Good on yer Warped!!! I know you'll do us proud next year guys!

I also would like to add my support to the big game 2k5, It was what ya made of it.
If you sat in the staging area and bitched, then you weren't doing a lot of what ya went there for were you!

I think considering the last minute move it played reasonably well, I was sceptical at first when I saw the size of the field, but when you consider the time taken to re-spawn and pot up etc it was only the start of the game when it was a little crowded!

The marshalls on the whole did an excellent job, only had a couple of bad calls for our squad all day, and that is nothing in my eyes, considering every looney was shooting them!

Big thanks to the generals for keeping the game flowing, And doing the covert ops made my day, sorry to the guy I shot in the calf, was aiming at ya boot ;)

I will be back, just one request bigger field with more cover (errr thats two i guess)

I hadn't played a game since the War of the roses (east v west) back in 92 (ish) and this just renewed my love of them.

Good friendly game, good friendly people North and South :)

Hear Hear........Despite the negative things about the weekend,it won't stop me from going next year.I hope that Warped can take on board the points raised on these threads and work with them....As paying customers,we are entitled to make an issue of what we did not like about an event. The organisers that can move on from that point will always get my support..and I believe Jim,Parksey and the rest of the Warped crew are just such people.

Exactly... they have taken each years feedback and run with it and produced results.. and this year they really tried to address everything but the results are in the trying and they were totally beset with bad luck... they'll do good ... they always do..
