Nexus player, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I doubt you'll be hitting too many of the same tournaments, let alone playing the same division.

Well first off, nobody can own a name like 'Nexus' as it is found in the dictionary meaning connection and would be like trying to have first option on the word 'hosepipe' unless you have registered it.
We however, have regsitered the name of 'Nexus' associated with a paintball team.
My apologies for stepping on your toes but I had never heard of you but if you want to play us for the name as somebody suggested, then no probs
But I also think 'Nexus US' sounds cool also, much more fitting for an American team !!!

Sorry guys, whilst I understand you can't "own" a name, I'm pretty sure if a new team (for example) started up with the name Ugly Ducklings, Nexxus, Aftershock or whatever then the team members would probably be doing the same thing this guy is doing.
