The Leicester Wildcats hit the tabloids today with a three quarter page article in the centre pages of the Leicester Mercury today (The highest circulating paper outside of London).

Bet I still do not get a single recruit for the team though

Still good to be seen outside of the industry - we got a couple of articles in the local Newspaper and then on to the Radio - keep up the good work.

Have you guys got a Supair field sorted to train on yet ?? We are looking at building a proper training facility - been offered a perfectly flat 5 acre field !!!

No sponsors as yet, was waiting until this article went in before I started to ring around, it did solicit a call from a retired international player who has offered his services to guide us on tic tacks and training.

Richard, we have no where to train at the moment and will probably use the site at Ancaster although a chance to train with you guys would be great from the way you have improved. Where will the field be?

We still have barely enough players... well 7... so we still need at least 3 more to be on the safe side.

I will see if I can get it scanned and posted... as per normal there were a few mistakes on there but nothing major.

You are more than welcome to come up for a training day to Lincoln - take you about an hour from Leicester to our home site, where our training fields will be. I will let you know once everything is set up.

Are you attending the Severe cup, it's about time we shook hands chap and had a quick chat.

I am champing at the bit to get some training done as a team.

Have had another call from a walk on player looking for a team who may bring another two players with him and tomorrow I shall make a tw*t out of myself doing a radio interview... don't know if it will be broadcast or just go onto the Radio Leicester web site though.

I need to sell the TV right's next and get some sponsors
