whats the difference between the old and new style a.i.r and how do you tell which one you have

New type has rounded...not flat end on teh reg I think...mind you im not sure

Yup, the newer model AIRs have the dome protruding from the face of the reg. As I recall, the change was purely to preempt a potential legal suit, not for functionality.

Also the new style is a lot harder to adjust the output.

Out of interest, in what way is harder to adjust? Have an old style on its way, so was wondering..?

They've altered the design of the spring carrier and adjuster, and it's much stiffer to adjust due to this design.
