size as in bore size or length.
If its bore size then there is no right or wrong size as all batches of paint is slightly different in size. I would advise a multi bore barrel like the evil pipe, or freak.
If its length then it depends, normally in tornies front players have smaller barrels as they play tighter, back players and mids usually use longer barrells around 14-16" this is not always true. Its also comes down to personal preferences.

if you can only afford the one, get the bigger one....... bad fitting oversized will reduce accuracy. But a tight barrel will just make soup. Thought of getting a multi bore set instead? Like the freak? or the empire one as it'll be tougher for woodsball.
As for length......how do you play? anything less than twelve is good for staying tight. 12 and 14 are the best for efficiency and anything bigger just looks cool

Barrel Sizes
wazzup? I saw ur post, and I gotta a Boomstick. From my use, I find small bore paint, Diablo Dusks, and any PMI p8ntball will work, but I've found that Marbelizers kick ass with this barrel. Now, thats besides the point. I'd have to say get yourself a good ol' 14''. Its great for nearly any position u play. Lemme no wat position u play, and what u usually play (speed-ball, woods-ball...etc...) I can help u alot more if i no wat ur playin. If u wanna, just post me a message. I'll get back. PZ

if your on a team it depends where you play .for example:
a back player= about 14"+
a mid player= about 12"
a front player=about 10"-12"
its up to you!!!
but if not start with a standerd then move up?!!
