Just a thought, any clothing item in the for sale must be washed before putting on sale, I beg your pardon if this is had been brought up but could not think of a suitable search string to use.

I see it like this, I see a for sale thread and the words need a clean puts me right off, I think if it needs a clean why not do it then as surely a nice clean item would sell a lot better then a mucky one, do not get me wrong i have bought unwashed items and luckily they have cleaned up a treat but always had in my mind they will turn out a mess.

I only mention this as I used to sell cars, I did not sell stating they need a clean up and and some simple loving car under the bonnet as instantly would ring bells and think what is being hidden. I know clothing is a different issue but I am sure we all take pride in what we wear and surely the stuff we are willing to sell to the next person.

Again if price is reflected in a mucky item then fair be it and a photo that "Clearly" shows, just my standards are clean ones, so what my mum used to do the shake and vac twice a day whilst I was at home. :)

Just an early morning thought as I can not sleep !

Give me a nut shot if I am talking smack ! :)

i think its a good idea and have thought the same thing when looking at gear on here. I would be selling my old mask bu as it is in the needs a clean catagory i have to do that first.

I think its mainly to do with lazyness of sellers

Personally I like to keep my kit in tip top condition (I sell a fair bit aswell) and clean it after every use but that doesnt ring true for halve the kids on this forum.
Dirty is AGG in the world of paintball lads

Guess I dont rate very high on the 'Aggness' scale then . But in reply to your thread, I honestly dont think you can start telling everbody that there kit must be clean before selling as it wont be practical to police.

I can imagine the mods "Thread deleted due to inappropriate speck of dust on said item. please re clean before posting again" :p

Topchef speaks the truth guys.

If you think putting pics up of your filthy kit helps your sale then do it but I guarentee more interest in your stuff if it is clean and looks like you have looked after it.

I have received some items i have bought off here in a really bad state. Sometimes they even look spotless in the pics when i have paid only to find the seller has used the item again since taking the pictures and sent it out uncleaned!

I personally would be embarrased to send out anything in an uncleaned, dirty state.
I try to keep my kit spotless when im using it myself let alone when im sending it to someone else.

All you have to remember is if you wash all your kit and make sure it is spotless and as clean as possible before sending it out people will leave you very good feedback, there is nothing better than buying something second hand off the forum and finding out its like new when you receive it. :D

All good points from all and the I can understand the policing aspects of the threads, we all do have other lives, just one of those thoughts that was stuck in my head, courtesy and common sense goes a long way with me as I lack the lattar some days.

Good day all :)

Clould'nt put it better myself, before i set my for sale thread up i spent a day and a half washing and drying stuff, making sure it was clean,

Buy a pair of arm or legs pags and find they have not been washed, stick your arm/leg in and mmmmm that feels nice! i dont think! :D

While we are on the cleaning front

FFS clean your god damn markers before you post them out to a buyer.
There is nothing worse than pulling the bolt out of a marker or removing the eye covers and there been half a pot of paint inside.

I have bought a marker from someone that posted it with a barrel full of paint and crap due to them having a barrel break and not even bothering to clean it out before sending!

There should be a thread so we can name and shame these sellers and their dirty ways!
