Just got my turborev in the post this morning. what is it? a replacement board for 12v or 9v revolutions, makes the gun run on two 9v in either version. 9v also comes with a spider paddle.

Like the x board there is no delay in activation, the second it senses no paint it activates the motor, also it spins a little while after paint is sensed again.

The board counts the feed rate via the eye and automatically adjusts the motors spin rate and torque to maximise the feed rate. WAS claim that on gun it can achieve 16bps. www.warpig.com have tested it in a loader test and it came out on top.

check out www.wickedairsportz.com they also have stuff in the line for the halo and richochet.

I have been using one for a while know (that is untill I got my halo) and the thing is a definat improvment over the stock board and the X-board. If you listen closely when you turn it on it plays the theme song to Close Encounters of the III kind.

The only difference between the 9 and 12 volt upgrades is that the 9V comes with the 12V rev padle, the boared is the same.

The only problem that I have had is that even when mine is turned off it still drains the batterys. So I have to unplug them at then end of the day. This could just be a prob with mine thou but it would be good for you to keep an eye on it.

I have one.

The battery drain is due to the on-board computer, if you read the instruction manual it does tell you that. It also tells you that only one of the two batteries drain due to this. As for the tune - that is freaky - I had the board for months b4 I noticed it.
Good upgrade though, well worth the price.

Seems to maximise the performance of the humble revvy, and that close encounters tune is just a nice touch. Prefer the push button on/off as well and all the little features beside, just letting paint drop through it I noticed you can hear the difference in the motor.

see how it works on the weekend.

Revvy with Xboard/pre Brass Eagle feeds reliably at 11.5 bps the turbo rev feeeds relaiably at between 12-13 catching only 1 ball out of 3 when shooting at 13bps(hense reliably between 12-13)
