The Warped Multiball Summer Series is back!
We have a couple of spaces left, if you are a player local to Wolverhampton looking to get a taste of some semi-competitive ball in a great atmosphere, get in touch asap.
It is sensibly seeded to make sure you will play mainly against similar level opposition in the 5-man and alongside experienced players in the 10 and 20man.
For those of you unfamiliar with this event, the format is below;
Book in as 5-man teams (if you don't have a team, we can hook you up with a scratch team, call us)
Each team will play 10 games total.
5man
Each team will play 5 games head to head. This will be seeded on a per game basis. Ie when all teams have played game 1, the draw will be put up for game 2, when you finish game 2 the draw will be put up for game 3, etc.
10man
At the end of 5 games the teams will be joined as 10man teams, seeding will be based on overall score at that point.
Each 10 man team will then play a 3 game round robin.
20man
At the end of these 3 games the teams will be joined as 20man teams, seeding will be based on overall score at that point.
Games are single flag.
5man games are 10mins
10 man games 15min
20man games 20mins.
All games will use the same new scoring system:
MAX win = 5 points (all opponents eliminated and flag hung in time)
Win = 4 points (flag hung, live opponents left)
Flag in transit = 3 points
Win = 2 points (bodycount only, no flag in transit)
Draw = 1 point each (no flag in transit and equal live player)
There are a total of 10 games overall, so a possible 50 points up for grabs for each team for the day overall.
All games are worth equal points, we think this will make for the closest and hardest to win multi-ball series we have ever had.
Trophies/medals will be awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd place overall. Series points will be awarded as follows:
1st place 10 series points
2nd place 8 series points
3rd place 6 series points
4th place 5 series points
5th place 4 series points
6th place 3 series points
7th place 2 series points
8th place 1 series points
The dates are as follows:
Round 1:29th June
Round 2:27th July
Round 3: 31st August
Round 4: 28th September
Round 5: 26th October
Round 6: 30th November
Entry is £55 per person for a single event, including a case of paint and a £50 deposit per team will reserve your slot.
For those of you who wish to commit to the whole series, you will be able to lay down a rolling deposit which will roll over on an event-to-event basis and reserve the team slot for every event of the Multiball. Teams on a rolling deposit will receive a discount of £5 on event entry.
