Warped CL*SS Angel IR3....

Hmm...I'm caught a bit with this one...Somewhere between form and function. Granted the milling is nice and unique. But damned if I'm cleaning paint out of the holes and stuff. Mind you I guess to get paint in the holes you'd have to get tagged, so I wouldn't have any probs there...:D

Now the price for the CL*SS is a different story. $1850 or so I think?

But you want a thing of beauty? Surely the KAPP Flame iR3 is going to be XXX-treme drool material. Though I'm looking forward to the Rocky iR3. Hope he does a bit more to it than the Rocky LCD, and with words like "aggressive" milling, that sounds on track. :)

IR3?

Althought the Class and the new Dark IR3 looks the business I still don't trust 'em in general. Everyone, well almost, seems to have had some baddaass problem with 'em. I heard the COPS aint worth **** and Tha Andy on our team has had all kinds of trouble with his, breach unaligned, dodgy lpr, chopping, bad velocity consistency...etc...etc

Has anyone else had hard times with the awesome, but flawed IR3?

My Dark2K rules the roost by the way.

The most common problems I've heard about the iR3 so far have been battery problems, with board problems coming second. But the first series of LCDs had AWFUL board problems. I remeber when I was looking forward to others getting their new LCDs way back when, and ones that worked out of the box were few and far between.

As temped as I was to get an iR3 (Okay I'm a gun slut) mine LED is rockin the boat, and I've seen sooooo many new products have problems (LCDs, iR3s, HALOs, Aradus barrel, etc...). I guess the best lesson is to wait for version two of any new product...

I have only used my new iR3 at one event so far (a two day scenario, pouring rain affair), but I love it. No problems at all with the terrible conditions (and I know of a Shocker and a Ricochet that fried in the moisture). I'll play walk on this weekend to test it further in nice weather.

Also, my two LEDs have hated RP paint (all makes, different events and times of year) for a year now but this event used RP Premium and the iR3 had no problems.

So far I am very happy.
