ok i know eblades can have a warp output installed, if i were to build myself an intellifeed egg is the any reason that the warp output on an eblade wouldnt work?

would the intellifeed give me a faster trigger responce than a standard egg?

and yes before you all ask i do know how to do intellifeed eggs :) and no it doesnt run off the markers battery

no im thinking a straight intellifeed egg hooked up to an eblade......is that what nicky t did?

not sure how im gonna run the wireing etc, prob just drill the shell to drop the wire out so it runs down the feed neck and into the top of the trigger frame.......not even sure if im gonna try it yet

not 100% sure if i even need a board in the egg or i can just run it straight to the frame....could just build one from parts if i dont need the board

I used copper clad board for mine, and etched the tracks.
This lets me use screw down connectors for easy disassembly.

You COULD get away with stripboard but there is alot less room in the egg than you would think.

Most people just solder direct to the relay and have a bunch of wires and the relay where the board used to be.

I was saying about the wires because even on angels some people just send a huge wire to the hopper, it ends up looking like a 10 year old did it.

I replaced the socket and milled the sight rail, it came out rather neat if i do say so myself :)

did you use an eggy motor or is it a different one?
just thinking that it would be cheaper to get an rc motor of somekind?

Yeah I have the normal motor and gearbox.

You can use a revvy gearbox and motor as they are almost(exactly?) the same.

You could use an RC motor but you would need the bendy paddle and a gearbox which fits in the egg and also fits your motor. So depending on your sources it might not be cheaper.

If you are board mounting the relay get one in a dil package. All the other relays sold by Maplins and RS are too big!

Nicky T ran a direct feed from the z board through the vacant velocity adjuster hole straight into the eblade frame - cool as hell, very impressive in action too
