Hey guys,
Im trying to get my warp spin when it gets a pos charge. I've found that on the eblade where the solnoid wire is connected a positive charge is sent down the fire when the trigger is pulled (1v-3v). Anyway i figured i could probably use this so i cut the 2 wires and joined 2 new wires (one to go with the positive and one with the negitive). Anyway i then tested to make sure the current is still coming through the wires and it is which is a relief. I then fitted the 2 new wires to a jack and plugged it into my warp and set the jumper for a positive voltage. Only thing is its not spinning when i fire. I tried to send a 9v charge from a 9v battery to test it but its not working. The warp is still working cause it spins when i press the button and the trigger is still working too. Anyone have any ideas?

erm wouldnt it be far easier to use the eblades warp interface?

and if you have the early one without the interface you can send it to planet for the upgrade, dont know the cost tho

ah i see, best thing to do then is to make 100% certain that you aint got the interface already, i dont know much about how warps work so i can really give more help than advice.....give planet a bell they will be able to give more help than me

Have you made sure the jumper inside is set to recieve a positive feed rather than a closed circuit?

if it is you should be able to make it work, iirc...email planet or ask 7lash on here, he is, after all the undisputed eBlade techy king seeings as he designs and programs the buggers:D

The eBlade circuit board does not send a 'positive charge' to the solenoid, therefore the Warpfeed will not trigger correctly. Somebody cleverer than I once said that a little knowledge is dangerous. ;)

The approved way to drive a Warpfeed from an eBlade is to have your board modified by Planet. This involves cutting a track, soldering the two Warpfeed wires onto the board and upgrading the firmware to version 1.07. The Warpfeed is then driven directly by the processor on the eBlade circuit board under software control, to ensure that the two pieces of kit are completely synchronised.
