Some kids I know have organized a huge paintball war that will start at night and go all the next day and night and end the next morning. There are really no rules because its a war. I need ideas for my team in the war...like cannons and moveable bunker/defense stations. Please give your input.

This is plans for a paintball spread cannon, more of a shotgun/claymore really, but is devastating to any group you hit. I'd stay away from any big "cannons" thoug, to big, heavy, and immobile, and could hurt somebody.

As for bunkers, take some two by fours, plywood, and camo netting, and build yourself a little leaning bunker.

If that makes sense. Cut a little firing hole in it that is set to your kneeling height, and drape it in camo netting, or a dark green tarp, old sheet, whatever (just not black, because contrary to belief, black DOES stand out at night). Also, if you have access to the playing area beforehand, build turtle shell bunkers and stash them on the field so only you know where they are, then move them to good locations. Just set the bunker up near chokepoint, ie a bridge, a road crossing, or just near a clearing that people will gather at. At night, just wait in the bunker until you see movement, or lights (do not use illumination yourself) and wait until their on top of you to fire.

Some of your teamates may want to tape minimags to their barrels, unless you have a colored lense for them, it'll just give you away. Your better off using moonlight and allowing your opponents to show their own lights. Also, set up a rest rotation early and stick to it, making sure you have some people resting all the time, except for the very beginning amd end of the game, and for any important time dependant objectives. Smokers and bangers are always useful, and carrying an extra pair of cammies and a mask lets you set up a dummy player to draw out oposition (I love that one:) ) Carry water in the field, make sure you have a plastic or rubber tube so you can keep your mask on in the field.

And this may sound like a dick thing to do, but control their respawn point (I'm not saying gun them down right as they respawn, but let them get into the field, then pin them down and don't let them leave the area to help their teamates), and make sure you have control of you respawn point too (I know how bad it sucks to be pinned down and not be able to help your team in the field). Have a clear chain of command that runs all they way to the bottom, as your commanders may be eliminated, resting, or captured if your scenario allows it.
