hi. thanks for the reply.
I should have added its for an XS79 air rifle which takes a small paintball tank or an 88gram air source throwaway with an adapter.
I saw those on ebay and asked the seller a question about the dimeter of them as its got to fit below the barrel, but they have not got back to me yet.

Using the patented bit of string wrapped around the bottle I can tell you that it has a circumference of about 19.5cm so a bit of school boy maths says the diameter is about 6.2cm.

So it is about 1cm wider than a 2inch
