tippmanns are mechanical guns which are made to be robust and customizable if you want to make them look realistic. in reality you want what is called an electro-pneumatic gun which operates using a circuit board and a solenoid. they are generally lighter, faster, easier to maintain, more efficient and also won't break paint easily inside the gun due to a feature operated by the board called 'eyes'.

examples of good entry level guns in this style are planet eclipse etha, invert mini, proto PMR, GOG envy.

in general don't go for mechanical guns (tippmanns, BTs) since none of them can have the same features as i explained above.

accuracy is determined by how clean your barrel is, quality of the paint, and how consistent the gun shoots.

you tend to find at rental sites the guns aren't cleaned out brilliantly and also the paint isn't made to be high quality and so you find that affects the guns a lot. co2 can cause a lot of inaccuracy compared to high pressure air, but thats a long story.

The rail is NOT to be used with co2 as it can damage it! If you want to use co2 get a bt or tippmann but not the gryphon for the love of all that is working
