G7 fly thread is NOT the same as A1. however, they are 'reverse-compatible' via an insert. dont go buying an a1 barrel kit, as it wont fit the fly. best thing you can get, as i have on mine, is a CP back, with a stiffi front... best barrel setup iv used. available from Lips...

ime confused now i was told that barrel changed on g7fly and is same as a1 are you 100% sure this is wrong as i have purchased pipe kit and they do not fit as g7fly has a short thread and not like older style with 1 inch before thread starts thanks

i thought it was the g7 that was old style and g7 fly that was new style

to make the gun shorter, and other technical reasons, threads loosening ect.
