I go to Bournemouth uni tomorrow and I'm wondering if there's a good paintballing scene there? Any walkons? I know about team Broken and sent them a mail. Is there anything else going on there?

i can then help to get you involved ..... (captain gets kinda busy atm)
just to let you know there are a few local sites. one of them i know is interested in offering a student card or something of the like but im not too sure how commercially based its going to be.
i guess the mst important question is can you drive?
cos if not your either going to need to be fit or go to mega city which is in the centre of town.
i will link you to the websites of some local sites if you want.
definately come along to some trainings with us at BROKEN.
also there is another big team locally(ish) called Demolition squad.(can link you to their forums too.
not too sure if its your thing or not but if you play laser tag(quazar or laserquest) then there are one of each in bournemouth.
laser quest has a good members night ( alot of BROKEN go
) also quazar is looking to start with their members nights again.
Definately hit us up and we can welcome you to bournemouth
(maybe even with a few drinks)

the fire station is just the begginning mate.
the real town is a 5 minute walk down old Christchurch road (the one with ASK on the corner).
All of broken are around our age.
there is an indoor paintball site really close to where your halls are... its kinda hard to explain if you don't know the area tho... so have a little wonder then i will try
if you are free Monday night and you are up for a pub session then pm me during the day and i will try and get in touch (do you have internet in your halls?)

Sorry for the massive wait - it's been a hectic freshers week so I apologise for that!
I've had a bit of a wander about and I know the area a bit better, what's the name of the indoor paint ball site? My gear is currently at home but I can arrange to have it brought down. I shoot an ego08 and have trousers/vest/mask and an alloyfibre bottle but the reg is broken, but I can borrow my brothers bottle for the time.
I haven't played in a few months because back in my home town there isn't much paintball for miles and miles, but i believe myself to be good at the game (We shall see though ) and I love playing.

i guess you mostly play woodsball? either way you should still come along to a training session with us as we now train even closer to bournemouth.. and im sure we could find a way to transport you if it was needed.

Haha was it mental? It's my first year so it's all new and exciting!
Yeah mostly woodsball but i've played on pitches where hay bales are set out in a speedball-esque manner (I have no doubt though the real thing is very different ! ). I played and won a 5 man tournament last winter at my local site, Nemesis - which is a mix of woodsball and barricade type fields.
I'd love to come to a training session, I got in touch with Brad too. When are you guys next training? I can't tell when I will get my mits on my gear next but hopefully soon, if I have a rough idea how often you guys train I can contact you once I have it. It could be a few weeks though.

we train about 2 to 3 times a month.
unfortunately i live near bournemouth but commute to southampton so i haven had that much time during freshers to go out it sucks.
