Killing is dead, you are dead, you feel nothing. Period. Death is just overplayed. When a person is dead, too much emphasis is put on that they're dead. I dont think a mentally wounded person is any better than dead, and the dead dont have any more problems that forces them to live unnaturally for their lifetime.

So yes, it would be better if he killed a few.

Not to say one is better than another, but dead is dead, and permanentely scarred is another.
